3 - A melody with melancholy in the air

Agreed the movie had too much hype around it prior to release and usually THAT much of hype spawns a poop-shit movie. But 3 is everything but that.

3 makes you relive your teens, brings smiles to your face, moves you with the innocence of the emotions, makes you want to fall in love all over again, makes you wanna move mountains to be with the one you love and finally reduces you to tears by the profound performance of the cast.

If you are looking for a good laugh and no serious impact avoid this movie like the plague. Cox I guarantee you it just tugs at your heart with it's gripping climax.

Hats off to

  1. Aishwarya Dhanush's handling of the subject - It is refreshing, no cliches , funny, touching.. just about everything to be expected in a movie.
  2. The performance of the cast - Not for a minute would you think that these are actually actors pulling a tragedy. Natural, classy no- nonsense performance. Dhanush has done exceptionally well.. but that is expected of him. Shruthi Hassan is on par with seasoned actors like Prabhu. A perfectly matched star cast, they fir like a perfect puzzle complementing one another's performance.
  3. Music!!!! Mind blowing

Eh... So so aspects

  1. Second half could have been more to the point.. it did not retain the original tempo
However, I fail to understand people who gave 3 a 3 star rating.. Are you f***ing kidding me? Some dumb insensitive movie like OKOK gets a 4??? A 3.5??? Really??

And saying it defies logic?? Did these people making these rash comments GET the movie at all?? The guy is in love.. he has a problem and obviously his decisions are going to be biased on his love for the girl.. Why the frick should he act logically?
Well I guess some people just sink lower as they grow older I guess. Eh...

A must watch if you are in the mood for something classy and profound!
